Edward Sondey
Chief Executive Officer
Edward Sondey serves as the Chief Executive Officer of REV Renewables. Formed by LS Power in 2021, REV is one of the largest independent energy storage and renewable energy companies in the United States. Prior to REV, Mr. Sondey served as Senior Managing Director of Private Equity at LS Power where he was responsible for investments in energy-related public securities and commodities, led several acquisitions and was a member of the broader investment committee.
Previously, Mr. Sondey was a Managing Director in BofA Merrill Lynch’s Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group. Prior to BofA Merrill Lynch, Mr. Sondey was Vice President of Finance for PSEG Power, where he led finance activities and executed several asset mergers and acquisitions, as well as development transactions. Mr. Sondey began his career as an early member of J. Makowski Associates, a developer of electric power generation projects.
Mr. Sondey holds a B.A. from Princeton University.

Greg Silverberg serves as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Mr. Silverberg served as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Capital Efficiency and worked at LS Power, REV’s parent company, on the initial formation of REV Renewables. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Silverberg spent four years at McKinsey advising clients in electric power, metals & mining, and industrials on strategy and commercial growth topics, with a focus on climate change and decarbonization. Prior to McKinsey, Greg conducted research at Harvard University on graphene as an electrode material for energy storage devices.
Mr. Silverberg holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Brown University, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and M.S. in Environmental Science from Harvard University.

Paul Torgerson serves as Chief Financial Officer of REV Renewables. Prior to this, Mr. Torgerson served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance at REV and spent 2 years as Vice President in the Private Equity Group at LS Power, REV’s parent company. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Torgerson spent 15 years covering the energy and power industry in the investment banking groups at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse and as an investor at Harbinger Capital Partners and Halcyon Capital Management.
Mr. Torgerson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Villanova University.

Mark Strength serves as Senior Vice President, Development. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Strength spent 13 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, where he was responsible for business development and origination activities for the firm’s operating portfolio, including its renewable development projects. Previously, Mr. Strength worked for Entergy Corporation where he was responsible for long-term resource supply procurement and acquisitions. Prior to Entergy, he worked for ExxonMobil at the cogeneration facility at its largest domestic petrochemical facility.
Mr. Strength holds a B.S. degree from Auburn University’s School of Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.

Kathryn Wilson joined REV Renewables upon inception in 2021 and serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of REV Renewables. Previously, Ms. Wilson served for over eight years as Vice President, General Counsel & Board Secretary of Natural Resource Partners L.P., a publicly traded master limited partnership that manages and leases a diversified portfolio of mineral properties in the United States and owns a minority interest in a trona ore mining and soda ash production business. Prior to joining Natural Resource Partners, Ms. Wilson practiced law in the Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions groups at Vinson & Elkins LLP and also served as the General Counsel of Antero Resources Corporation.
Ms. Wilson holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.

Sandeep Arora serves as Senior Vice President & Head of Transmission & Markets. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Arora spent over 11 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, leading the Interconnection, Market and Regulatory activities for company’s Renewables, Storage & Transmission development business in the Western U.S. This led to the successful development of several large-scale solar, battery storage and transmission projects that are currently in operation. Previously, Mr. Arora worked for over 8 years at California ISO (CAISO) in Transmission Planning, Operations Engineering and Market Development areas. Prior to joining CAISO, Mr. Arora served in engineering roles at General Electric and Reliance Industries.
Mr. Arora holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Engineering & Technology and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from Arizona State University.

Eric Crawford serves as Senior Vice President, Development — East for REV Renewables and is responsible for business and project development activities in the Eastern U.S. Prior to joining REV, Mr. Crawford spent 16 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, most recently focused on renewable energy project development. He has developed over 2,700 MW of large-scale electric generation projects that are in operation. Mr. Crawford’s prior work experience includes 7 years in the public sector working for the State of Missouri and the Missouri Public Utility Alliance which resulted in financings totaling over $700 million for investment in municipal utility infrastructure.
Mr. Crawford holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Andrew Dera serves as Senior Vice President, Engineering & Construction for REV Renewables. Mr. Dera has 25 years of experience and spent over 22 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, where he led the engineering and construction management group responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction of projects for greenfield power generation and transmission. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Dera was employed by Sargent & Lundy, LLC.
Mr. Dera holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. Mr. Dera is also a licensed professional engineer.

Cody Hill serves as Senior Vice President, Battery Systems. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Hill spent 7 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, focused on energy storage including developing Gateway, the world’s largest lithium-based battery storage project at 250 MW when it was energized in 2020. Previously, Mr. Hill was an engineer at Xtreme Power. Mr. Hill also previously served as a member on the Board of California Energy Storage Alliance (CESA).
Mr. Hill holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Energy Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.

Adam Leipold serves as Vice President, Information Technology. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Leipold spent over 8 years in the ERCOT retail electricity market, serving as Chief Technology Officer for TriEagle Energy and the Head of Technology for LifeEnergy (an LS Power subsidiary). Most recently, Mr. Leipold led I.T. for VLS Environmental Solutions in Houston, TX.
Mr. Leipold holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an MIS Minor from the University of Houston.

Mariam Panahi joined REV Renewables in 2022 and serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Previously, Ms. Panahi served as Vice President, Human Resources at Navitas Midstream Partners, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus. Prior to this, she has worked in human resources, talent management, and employee relations functions at Oceaneering International, EP Energy, and its predecessor El Paso Corp.
Ms. Panahi holds a Master’s of Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University.

Simi Patel serves as Vice President, Accounting and Reporting at REV Renewables. Previously, Ms. Patel held the role of Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting at REV. Prior to joining REV, Ms. Patel spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC advising public and private energy clients on accounting and audit-related matters. Ms. Patel has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston teaching Oil & Gas Accounting.
Ms. Patel holds Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.

James Preedy serves as Vice President, Energy Management. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Preedy spent 18 years across trading, structuring, quantitative analytics, and commercial operations managing the commodity exposure for various generation assets and load at Constellation, Engie and Hull Street Energy.
Mr. Preedy holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Imperial College, London, UK.

Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Sass spent over 16 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company, where he was involved in all aspects of the development, construction, financing and operation of the firm’s power generation and transmission projects, including its renewables portfolio. Prior to LS Power, Mr. Sass practiced law at Reed Smith LLP in the Energy and Corporate Group.

Colleen Skalany serves as Vice President, Strategic Supply Chain and Sourcing. Ms. Skalany has over two decades’ experience in supply chain management, primarily within the energy sector. Her focus areas include strategic sourcing, contract management, procure-to-pay, logistics and business transformation. Previously, Ms. Skalany led capital procurement for Clearway Energy. Prior to Clearway, Ms. Skalany led operational procurement for nearly six years with Pattern Energy.
Ms. Skalany holds bachelor degrees from University of Florida.

Michael Vogt serves as Senior Vice President, Development – East for REV Renewables and is responsible for business and project development activities in the Eastern U.S. Prior to joining REV Renewables, Mr. Vogt spent 24 years at LS Power, REV’s parent company where he was directly responsible for development of over 3,900 MW of power generation facilities representing a capital investment of nearly $4.3 billion. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Vogt worked for the engineering/consulting firm of Black & Veatch.
Mr. Vogt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a registered professional engineer in Missouri.

Paul Segal serves as the Chief Executive Officer of LS Power and is a member of the Management Committee and Investment Committee, overseeing one of the largest independent power and transmission developers in the United States. Prior to being named CEO in 2011, Mr. Segal oversaw LS Power’s asset management and renewables development activities. In 2002, Mr. Segal founded Luminus Management, a hedge fund which invested across the capital structure of publicly-traded power, energy, utility and related companies. He was President and Portfolio Manager until 2011 and sold the business in 2017. Mr. Segal began his career at Smith Barney as a generalist in the mergers and acquisitions Investment Banking group.
Mr. Segal graduated with highest honors from the Rutgers College of Engineering with a B.S. in Bio-Chemical Engineering.
Mr. Segal is a member of the Mount Sinai Department of Medicine Advisory Board, the Weill Cornell Medicine Dean’s Council, the board of the Digestive Disease Research Foundation, and the Advisory Board of the NYU Law School’s Institute for Policy Integrity.

Darpan Kapadia is the Chief Operating Officer of LS Power and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee, overseeing one of the largest power generation, transmission and energy infrastructure companies in the United States. Since its inception, LS Power has raised over $54 billion to construct, acquire and operate its projects, including utility-scale solar, wind, hydro, natural gas-fired and battery energy storage assets, and over 780 miles of high voltage transmission. LS Power actively invests in and scales businesses that are accelerating the energy transition, including electric vehicle charging, demand response, microgrids, renewable fuels, and waste to energy platforms.
Prior to his appointment as COO, Mr. Kapadia was Head of Strategy for the firm. He is also a member of the investment committees of Edge Principal Advisors, Verance Capital and Marmora Capital, three affiliated companies that invest across real estate, sports, media and alternative investments. Before joining LS Power in 2004, Mr. Kapadia was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its Investment Management Division. Previously, Mr. Kapadia was a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he provided strategic and financial advisory services to corporations.
Mr. Kapadia received a B.A. in Economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. with highest distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mr. Kapadia currently serves on the Board of Directors for electric vehicle charging company EVgo Inc., renewables and battery storage platform REV Renewables LLC, and global risk management advisory firm K2 Integrity Inc. He is also Vice Chairman of the William and Mary Foundation Board of Trustees and a member of the Kellogg Alumni Council, the Kellogg Private Equity Advisory Council, and the Executive Council of the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy at Northwestern University.

Mr. King joined LS Power in 2006 and serves as Executive Vice President of Renewables, developing and completing some of the earliest utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage projects in the U.S. He is currently overseeing large scale renewable, green hydrogen and data center development initiatives. Mr. King is also a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Committee. He previously held oversight responsibility for LS Power’s portfolio of operating power plants from 2013 to 2017. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. King worked at Calpine Corporation from 1994 to 2005 in various positions, including as a Senior Vice President responsible for Calpine’s business development in the Western United States and international business activities.
Mr. King received a B.S.C. from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from California State University, Hayward.
Mr. King serves on the Board of Directors of renewable energy and storage company REV Renewables, and Demand Energy Resource (DER) company CPower Energy Management.

Mr. Nanus joined LS Power in 2005 and serves as President of LS Power Equity Advisors. Mr. Nanus is also a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Committee. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Nanus was a Vice President in Lazard Freres’ Power and Energy practice, where he advised power and utility companies on mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Nanus was an Associate at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was a member of both the Financial Sponsors and Global Energy practices. Mr. Nanus began his career with Arthur Andersen in the Transaction Advisory Services and Audit Groups where he performed due diligence and provided accounting advice related to private equity transactions.
Mr. Nanus received a B.S. in Applied Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School.
